The neighbouring Kloster­gasthaus Thallern offers high-quality regional and seasonal cuisine in a historic setting.

Nordic walking through the Triesting floodplains, running through the grass-scented cornfields or cycling along the Triestingau cycle path (Euro Velo 9a) - the choice is yours.

Do you want to go mountain biking or hiking? In just a few minutes you can drive to the vineyards of Gumpoldskirchen or climb the Anninger.

Lake Neusiedl is also very popular with swimmers, sailors and surfers in summer. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site by e-bike!

If the weather is bad, you can spend a day at the nearby Therme Wien Oberlaa or the Asia Therme Linsberg (from 16 years). In summer you can swim in the lake and go scuba diving in Lake Neufeldersee, just 20 minutes away.

A hiking trip to the Hohe Wand, Rax and Schneeberg offers refreshing variety. In the SCS Multiplex, 10 minutes away by car, you will find bars, cinema and pure entertainment.

From Münchendorf you have an ideal starting point to enjoy Vienna's rich art and cultural programme in comfort. Discover world-famous museums such as the Kunsthistorische Museum, the Belvedere or the Albertina with its unique collection of modern and classical works of art.

All this is just a short bus, train or car ride away from Münchendorf. Vienna Meidling can be reached by train in 17 minutes, Vienna Central Station in 23 minutes! There is a bus to Vienna Central Station and Eisenstadt every 30 minutes. The bus stop is just a few steps away from the apartment.

Children and families will enjoy a visit to the Zoo Vienna - Schönbrunn, the Haus des Meeres Aquarium located in an old WW2 anti-aircraft tower, the Technical Museum or the Natural History Museum.

Austria's largest amusement park, the Familypark in St. Margarethen, is just a 25-minute drive from Münchendorf. An adventure paradise for the whole family with a variety of rides, themed worlds, fairytale play areas and lots of fun - with exciting events and seasonal highlights such as Halloween or the magical Christmas season.
